ASELSAN, the Turkish defence giant, has reported significant export achievements in 2024 with its advanced bomb guidance kits and precision munitions, according to its latest activity report.

Alongside this, the company also exported the HGK 82 guidance kit that transforms 500-pound general-purpose bombs into intelligent munitions.
Moreover, ASELSAN marked a major success with its TOLUN precision-guided munition system. The report confirmed that export contracts have been signed for the supply of TOLUN and the SADAK 4T intelligent launcher system to several countries across Asia and Africa. Additionally, ASELSAN announced the first export shipments of GÖZDE, a precision guidance kit featuring a laser seeker developed in collaboration with Türkiye’s TÜBİTAK SAGE. This kit converts 500-pound general-purpose bombs into smart munitions as well.
Highlighting the technical capabilities, the 2024 test trials demonstrated that four TOLUN munitions, carried by the SADAK-4T intelligent launcher system, successfully struck four separate targets simultaneously with full accuracy during a series of live-fire exercises from a combat aircraft.
The TOLUN IIR variant, which includes an operator-controllable feature through the integration of the KİLİT 23T infrared seeker, achieved a Turkish first by precisely hitting a stationary target from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
Further, the LGK 82 laser guidance kit, integrated into the QFAB-250 LG general-purpose aerial bombs, was also successfully launched from a fighter jet and accurately struck its target during live-fire tests.
These export successes reinforce ASELSAN’s position as a leading global player in advanced defence technologies, delivering cutting-edge solutions to partners around the world.
