Astana airport sees delays across arrivals and departures

More than 20 flights have been delayed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport on Thursday, March 19, affecting both arrivals and departures, according to the airport’s press service cited by Kazakh media.

At the time of reporting, delays impacted 14 incoming flights and 9 outgoing flights. Airport officials stated that the majority of disruptions were caused by the late arrival of aircraft, which created a knock-on effect on the schedule.

The press service emphasised that weather conditions in Astana were not responsible for the delays, noting that there were no weather-related disruptions affecting departures.
