ASTRA: Russian Novorossiysk port terminal catches fire after overnight drone strikes PHOTO / VIDEO

A fuel oil terminal in Novorossiysk caught fire following overnight Ukrainian drone strikes, according to an OSINT analysis by ASTRA.

Novorossiysk Mayor Andrey Kravchenko said on September 9 that an attack by Ukrainian drones had been repelled. Fires broke out at several enterprises and near a residential building, he said. No casualties were reported.

Based on footage from eyewitnesses, ASTRA identified the facility on fire as the Novorossiysk Fuel Oil Terminal.

The terminal is one of the leading companies in the Novorossiysk transport hub and is part of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, Russia’s largest.
