Authorities arrest 76 in major crime sweep across Türkiye
In a major operation across Türkiye, authorities have successfully dismantled nine organized criminal groups (OCGs) as part of Operation HÜCRE, Minister of the Interior, Ali Yerlikaya said on X.
According to Yerlikaya, in the course of operation conducted over the past week, 76 suspects, including members of organized crime groups and their leaders, were detained, Caliber.Az reports.

“50 suspects have been arrested, 25 have been placed under judicial control, and proceedings for one individual are ongoing," Yerlikaya stated.
The operation also led to significant seizures. Authorities confiscated 10 unlicensed handguns, five unlicensed hunting rifles, various narcotics, as well as a number of computers, mobile phones, and bank cards.
