Ax-3 mission with Turkish astronaut leaving International Space Station

The Axiom-3 (Ax-3) human spaceflight mission will leave the International Space Station (ISS) on February 3.

Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravci is also in the crew, Anadolu Agency reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.

The Ax-3 farewell ceremony will be organised on the ISS on February 2 at 17:50 (GMT+3). The ceremony will be broadcast live on Axiom Space's social media platforms.

Gezeravci and the rest crew members are expected to leave the ISS on February 3 at 14:00 (GMT+3). The journey to Earth will take 12 hours.

The human spaceflight mission is expected to land at one of seven potential landing sites in the Atlantic Ocean east of Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico west of the state.
