Azerbaijan, Albania explore enhanced cooperation in environmental protection

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev met with Minister of Environment and Tourism of Albania Mirela Kumbaro during her official visit to Azerbaijan. The meeting focused on current and future opportunities for cooperation in environmental protection, climate change, and biodiversity conservation, as reported by Report.

Discussions also included preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which Azerbaijan will host in November this year.
