Azerbaijan, NATO hold joint training on operational planning PHOTO
In line with the 2025 Individual Partnership Cooperation Program signed between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence and NATO, a specialised training on “Operations Planning Process” is currently underway in Baku.
The program is being conducted by a Mobile Training Team from NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, based in the Netherlands, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.
Hosted at the War Games Centre of Azerbaijan’s National Defence University, the training includes both theoretical and practical sessions on operational planning and management in NATO, as well as other related topics.
For the record, Azerbaijan has been cooperating with NATO since 1994 under the Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme, which aims to build trust and transparency between NATO and non-member countries. Over the years, Baku has actively contributed to various NATO-led operations and has hosted a series of joint training events, particularly focused on defence reform, interoperability, and crisis response.
