Azerbaijani Defence Ministry leadership pays holiday visit to military units Photo

In celebration of the Gurban holiday (Eid al-Adha), senior officials from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence visited various military units to meet with the troops.

The ministry told Caliber.Az that the servicemen received official holiday greetings from President Ilham Aliyev, who also serves as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

During the visit, the ministry’s leadership also travelled to frontline positions, where they met with personnel and inquired about their service conditions and combat duties.
