Azerbaijan teams up with US AI firm to launch next-gen digital platform
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haimaker.AI Inc., an American AI technology company, to explore a partnership for developing a next-generation digital platform and ecosystem in Azerbaijan, according to the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC).
The MoU signing is planned to coincide with the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Chamber in Washington, DC, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Elnur Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s first deputy minister of economy, who is visiting the United States, will sign the agreement alongside Su Le, CEO and co-founder of Haimaker.AI Inc.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation is expected to hold several meetings with members of the US business community.
Under Azerbaijan’s Digital Economy Development Strategy for 2026-2029, the country aims to build a comprehensive digital economy ecosystem, accelerate business digitalisation, and generate added value through innovative digital business models.
The strategy targets the creation of 70 million manats ($41.18 million) in value using solutions based on generative artificial intelligence.
