Azerbaijan awards top-ranking Turkish officials with jubilee medals
Three high-ranking Turkish officials have been awarded the Azerbaijani medals "100th Anniversary of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan (1923-2023)" for their fruitful cooperation.
The medals were granted to the officials by the chairman of the Azerbaijani Supreme Court’s Administrative Board Khagani Mammadov, during his visit to the Turkish capital Ankara, according to Report.
The awardees include the Turkish Supreme Court President Mehmet Akarca, the Turkish Supreme Administrative Court President Zeki Yigit and the Turkish Prosecutor-General Bekir Sahin.
In addition, during the awarding ceremony, discussions took place over the prospects for cooperation, particularly between the administrative courts of the two brotherly states.
The parties emphasized that the interaction between the judicial and legal systems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye is developing upwards and lauded the importance of intensifying efforts to further expand this cooperation.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov also attended the meetings.
