Azerbaijan commends TURKPA's role in fostering unity among Turkic-speaking states

During her address at the 13th TURKPA Council meeting, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova expressed Azerbaijan's deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by TURKPA in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries.

Gafarova highlighted the significant contribution of TURKPA and other similar organizations in promoting close unity among Turkic peoples and states, emphasizing that efforts to bolster Turkic unity remain a top priority in Azerbaijan's foreign policy agenda, APA reports.

Note that, the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) was transferred from Türkiye to Azerbaijan.
