Expanded meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs focuses on peace and security
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan have commenced discussions in an expanded format, Caliber.Az reports via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's official account on social platform X.
According to the ministry, the meeting focused on the robust cooperation agenda driven by the Azerbaijan-Türkiye alliance. Key topics included security, economic collaboration, trade, transport, communications, and humanitarian initiatives.
The ministers also addressed pressing regional and international security concerns, particularly the situation in the Middle East.
The dialogue further touched on the current status of post-conflict normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighting the peace process and the remaining obstacles to achieving lasting stability in the region.
