Azerbaijani, Luxembourg diplomats hold political consultations in Baku
On January 22, the latest round of political consultations was held between the representatives of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Luxembourg in Baku.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, while the Luxembourg delegation was headed by Veronique Dockendorf, Director of the Political Department of Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The discussions focused on the political ties between Azerbaijan and Luxembourg, highlighting the importance of mutual visits and meetings within international events to maintain ongoing political dialogue.
Additionally, the current state and future prospects of cooperation in the fields of economics, energy, transportation, and humanitarian affairs were discussed. Emphasis was placed on the significance of developing a legal framework to expand cooperation in various sectors.
Rzayev briefed the Luxembourg representatives on the post-conflict situation in the region, the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, and the steps taken by Azerbaijan to establish lasting peace.
He also highlighted the mine threat in the liberated territories and the extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts being undertaken there.
The consultations concluded with an exchange of views on regional and international issues.
