Sweden seeks to strengthen ties with Azerbaijan, envoy says VIDEO

Sweden intends to continue strengthening bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, building on the two countries’ shared history and developing cooperation in areas such as investment and trade, sustainable development and education, Sweden’s newly appointed Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Louise Morsing, has said.

In a video address posted on Facebook, Morsing noted that she was very happy to start her new assignment as an envoy in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

“I only arrived and immediately discovered something that makes me feel a bit like home, namely, Villa Petrolea, the Nobel Brothers’ museum house,” she added.

The diplomat also stated that she was looking forward to continuing to get to know Azerbaijan and meeting many of its people.
