Pakistani PM to visit Azerbaijan for CICA gathering

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit Azerbaijan in October to attend the upcoming summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin told local media that Sharif will travel to Baku to participate in the summit.

The ambassador made the remarks while visiting the Karabakh region as part of a delegation comprising representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan.

The 7th CICA Summit is scheduled to take place in Baku in mid-October.
