Baku, Kyiv seek fresh impetus for economic partnership
Azerbaijan and Ukraine have discussed prospects for expanding economic cooperation, strengthening investment ties, and creating favorable conditions for new business initiatives.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev made the remarks following a meeting with Yusif Abdullayev, head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The meeting focused on expanding bilateral economic cooperation, intensifying investment activity, and strengthening business ties between the two countries.
“Particular attention was paid to attracting Azerbaijani investment into the Ukrainian economy, implementing joint investment projects, as well as creating favorable conditions for launching new business initiatives,” Husyev said.
He also stressed the importance of closer coordination between Ukrainian and Azerbaijani investors, particularly in promoting opportunities in the Ukrainian market and facilitating greater involvement by Azerbaijani businesses in Ukraine’s reconstruction and development.
The sides agreed to continue joint efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the investment, trade, and economic spheres.
“Ukraine highly values Azerbaijan’s support and is interested in further deepening economic partnership, attracting Azerbaijani businesses to Ukraine’s reconstruction, and implementing mutually beneficial investment projects,” the ambassador stressed.
