Azerbaijan's PM Asadov bids farewell to outgoing Turkish ambassador Jahit Bagchi
Prime Minister Ali Asadov of Azerbaijan met with Jahit Bagchi, the outgoing Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.
The meeting took place at the Cabinet of Ministers, where Asadov expressed his gratitude to the ambassador for his significant contributions to the strengthening of ties between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports.
The high level of friendly, fraternal, and strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye was highlighted during the meeting. Furthermore, discussions centred on enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
Note that, Birol Akgün has been appointed as Türkiye’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan through an official decree issued by President Erdoğan.
Jahit Bagchi has served as the Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan since May 3, 2021.
