Azerbaijan, Georgia mobilize support following Turkish plane crash, says Erdogan
Azerbaijan and Georgia rapidly mobilized all available resources to assist in the aftermath of a Turkish military plane crash, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated.
The remarks were made in an address to the nation following a Cabinet meeting, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
“Neighboring countries cooperated on all matters related to the plane crash. The bodies of the victims and the aircraft’s ‘black box’ were recovered in a short time,” Erdogan said, highlighting the swift coordination among the countries.
The Turkish leader added that the cause of the incident will be determined after a thorough examination of the flight recorder.
The crash occurred on November 11, when a C-130 aircraft traveling from Azerbaijan to Türkiye went down in Georgian territory, resulting in the deaths of all 20 military personnel on board.
