Azerbaijan, Iran commit to deeper cultural, artistic collaboration
Strengthening cultural and artistic ties between Azerbaijan and Iran was the focal point of a recent meeting between Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iran, Ali Alizada, and Iranian Minister of Culture, Seyyed Abbas Salehi.
According to Azerbaijani Embassy's official X account, the discussions underscored the enduring significance of the historical, spiritual, and cultural bonds that connect the two neighboring nations, Caliber.Az reports.

During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the vital role that shared heritage plays in enhancing bilateral relations and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to fostering deeper cooperation in the fields of culture and the arts.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including the organization of Culture Days in the capitals and various regions of both countries, the staging of joint exhibitions and academic conferences, and the facilitation of bilateral cultural visits.
The discussions also touched on the preservation of religious, historical, and cultural monuments, with both parties expressing interest in pursuing joint projects aimed at safeguarding cultural heritage.
