Azerbaijan issues statement on anniversary of Armenian missile attack on Barda
Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General's Office has issued a statement regarding the anniversary of the Armenian rocket attacks on Barda City and Barda District two years ago.
The statement says that as a result of rocket and artillery shelling by Armenia of the Barda region, seven people were deliberately killed, including four women, two men, and one child, Caliber.Az reports.
Twenty-nine people were injured, including nine women, seven children and 13 men following the attack during the Armenia-Azerbaijan 44-day war in 2020.
In addition, serious damage was caused to civilian infrastructure, vehicles, residential buildings, and other buildings located in the city of Barda.
Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office called on international organizations and the world community to ensure the rule of international law by taking measures to bring Armenia and its military-political leadership to legal responsibility for crimes against peace and humanity, as well as war crimes that resulted in the killing of the civilian population of Azerbaijan.
