Azerbaijan launches designing work of two more villages in Kalbajar
The design phase for two additional villages, Otagli and Chirag, has officially commenced in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district.
The initiative is being overseen by the Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service of Kalbajar district, which has already launched the necessary preparatory activities, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The design work has been entrusted to PBA Closed Joint Stock Company, following the conclusion of relevant contracts. The cost for designing Otagli village is set at 596,100 manats ($350,647), while the design of Chirag village will require 594,800 manats ($349,882).
Notably, Kalbajar has been undergoing significant reconstruction and development efforts since its return to Azerbaijani control in November 2020 after nearly three decades of Armenian occupation. The Azerbaijani government initiates various projects to revitalise the region's infrastructure, economy, and living standards.
