Azerbaijan prepares beds for Turkish earthquake survivors in hospitals

Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev and Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca have had a phone talk.

During a phone talk, Musayev told his Turkish counterpart that medical institutions located in Baku and other cities, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, were prepared for the treatment of the earthquake survivors in accordance with the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the ministry told APA.

“For this purpose, 2,000 beds have been prepared in medical institutions. If necessary, Azerbaijani doctors are ready to render medical assistance to treat the injured,” he added.

Musayev wished speedy recovery to the injured and patience to the families of the victims.
