Azerbaijan’s ASAN Service trials AI to handle call centre queries
Azerbaijan’s state agency for public services, ASAN Service, is expected to handle around 30% of call centre inquiries using artificial intelligence in the future.
Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President, Jeyhun Salmanov, told a conference in Baku on “Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence” that work in this area has already entered a testing phase, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He added that ASAN xidmət’s own Artificial Intelligence Strategy, approved in 2024, is now being actively implemented, with planned steps progressing steadily.
The Intellectual Property Agency of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), launched an international conference focused on the intersection of Intellectual Property (IP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The conference, which brings together experts and thought leaders from across the globe, explores the challenges and opportunities posed by the rapid advancement of AI in the context of intellectual property rights.
Keynote speakers at the event included Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency of Azerbaijan; Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office; and Ulrike Till, Director of the Intellectual Property and Advanced Technologies Department at WIPO.
