Azerbaijan's Azercosmos provides services to customers in 42 countries PHOTO

In January-April 2023, the space agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services to 42 countries of the world worth $6.2 million.

According to Caliber.Az, it was reported in the May edition of the "Export Review" of the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Azercosmos' revenues from the export of services accounted for 77 per cent of its total revenues. In April 2023, Azercosmos exported services to 41 countries around the world for $1.6 million.

The top five exporters of satellite communications services for January-April 2023 included the UK ($1.7 million), Luxembourg ($1.4 million), UAE ($595.9 thousand), Germany ($339.8 thousand), and Pakistan ($291.3 thousand).
