Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan explore joint investment mechanisms for regional projects

On June 30, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, held talks in Baku with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, to explore ways of strengthening economic ties between the two countries. 

During the talks, both ministers emphasised the importance of developing bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

They noted that recent visits by the heads of state and high-level meetings have given fresh momentum to the strategic partnership, raising cooperation to a new level and ensuring the sustainable growth of mutually beneficial ties.

Key topics discussed included increasing trade turnover between the two countries, strengthening industrial cooperation, advancing joint projects, and encouraging reciprocal investments.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both sides to deepen economic collaboration for long-term prosperity.
