Azerbaijan, Venezuela discuss oil, gas cooperation
Azerbaijan and Venezuela have discussed potential cooperation in the oil and gas sector, including plans for training specialists and expanding academic exchange programmes, according to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov.
In a post on X, Shahbazov said that he met with Venezuela’s Deputy Minister of People’s Power for Hydrocarbons Cindy Rondon to explore areas of bilateral energy cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.

“In the meeting with the Deputy Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons of Venezuela, Cindy Rondon we discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the oil gas sector, as well including training of specialist, university exchange programs, and human resource development," he wrote.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in hydrocarbons and building human capital through joint training initiatives, university partnerships, and professional development programs for energy specialists.
