Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry mourns tragic loss of journalist in Türkiye

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has expressed profound condolences over the death of Azerbaijani journalist Emin Ibrahimov.

As Caliber.Az reports, in a statement posted on its X social media account, the ministry wrote:

"With deep sorrow, we extend our condolences to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of the tragically deceased renowned Azerbaijani journalist, former Euronews correspondent Emin Ibrahimov. Emin Ibrahimov held a respected place in both local and international media. His reports, prepared during the Patriotic War, were remembered for their objectivity, patriotism, and high professionalism. May Allah rest his soul!"

Earlier on November 13, it was reported that Emin Ibrahimov, a well-known Azerbaijani journalist and reporter for Euronews, died in a road traffic accident in Türkiye. The news of his death was confirmed by his close associates.
