Azerbaijan’s president responds to Iranian counterpart’s message of gratitude

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has responded to the expression of gratitude by the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, reaffirming the enduring ties between the two nations.

In a post shared on his official account on the social media platform X, the Azerbaijani leader welcomed the message and underscored the importance of mutual support between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing state media.

“The expression of gratitude by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, my brother President Masoud Pezeshkian, to the Azerbaijani people and state for the support provided is highly appreciated by our people. Our friendly and brotherly peoples have supported each other for centuries, and we will continue to stand by each other in both good and difficult times,” the post read.
