Azerbaijan sends troops to Türkiye for advanced commando drills
A new group of Azerbaijani servicemen from the Combined Arms Army has been deployed to Isparta, Türkiye, to participate in an advanced Mountain Commando Course, as part of the ongoing military education cooperation agreement between the two countries.
Hosted by the Mountain Commando School and Training Center Command, the rigorous program is designed to enhance the operational capabilities of Azerbaijani forces through specialized training in modern warfare tactics, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
The course focuses on combat techniques applicable in diverse environments and under varying conditions — both day and night — while incorporating instruction on the use of cutting-edge military technologies.
According to the ministry, the primary objective of the training is to further elevate the combat readiness and professional competence of commando units within the Combined Arms Army.
