Azerbaijan, Somalia explore military cooperation at defence exhibition

Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with Defence Minister of the Republic of Somalia Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX) in Baku.

The meeting highlighted the broad opportunities and prospects for cooperation between the two countries across various fields, including the military sector. The officials engaged in a fruitful exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports.

The 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX), along with being the biggest event in the region dedicated to the defence industry, showcases the strength and power of the country's military and industrial complex.

More than 218 companies from around 40 countries are involved in this year's exhibition.
