Azerbaijan takes anti-terrorist measures only against legitimate military targets - envoy

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ local anti-terrorism measures in the Garabagh region were aimed only at the legitimate military targets of the Armenian armed groups, representative of the Azerbaijani president on special assignments, Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov has said.

“Every effort was made to avoid casualties among civilians of Garabagh during anti-terrorist measures. They were implemented rapidly and lasted less than a day. The measures were aimed at legitimate military targets of the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijani territory,” Amirbayov said in an interview with BBC News, Report says.
