Azerbaijan to contribute revival of Turkish quake-torn regions

Azerbaijan intends to implement important projects in the quake-hit territories in Türkiye.

The statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on April 30 during an interview with TRT Türk.

He recalled that, together with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, he laid the foundation of thousands of buildings, schools, and mosques in Kahramanmarash, which will be built by Azerbaijan.

Erdogan also thanked all the countries that provided assistance to Türkiye after the devastating earthquakes on February 6, 2023.
