Azerbaijan to take part in Türkiye’s International Anatolian Eagle Air drills
Türkiye will host the International Anatolian Eagle Training from June 23 to July 4 in Konya, with participation from several allied and partner nations, including Azerbnaijan, the National Defence Ministry announced on June 19.
Speaking during a weekly press briefing, Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, the Ministry’s Press and Public Relations Advisor, said that air forces from the United States, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Hungary, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Türkiye’s own Land, Naval, and Air Force elements will take part in the drills, Caliber.Az reports per the ministry’s post on X.
Military observers from Bulgaria, Brazil, Malaysia, Mali, and Nigeria will also attend.
The exercise aims to enhance training, cooperation, and interoperability among participating air units, contributing to greater operational readiness and coordination in joint missions.
Rear Admiral Aktürk also provided updates on the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Unwavering Brotherhood Computer-Assisted Command Post Exercise, which has been underway in Nakhchivan since June 12 and concludes today, June 19.
