Azerbaijan, UAE consider implementing strategic partnership agreements
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhan Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Caliber.Az reports that during the call the sides touched on various bilateral and international issues of mutual concern.
They discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding and other agreements on strategic partnership signed during UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's official visit to our country, as well as regional and international issues.
In addition, as part of the preparatory process for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the two sides exchanged views on cooperation with the UAE Presidency of COP28.
The call also discussed areas of cooperation in other international platforms.
