Azerbaijan unveils conceptual design of Khorovlu village Jabrayil's revival in full swing PHOTO/VIDEO

Azerbaijan has prepared a conceptual project for the Jabrayil district’s Khorovlu village, which is planned to be restored.

The project has been prepared in accordance with the "I State Program of Great Return to Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from occupation", Caliber.Az reports per the Service of Rehabilitation, Construction and Management No.1 of East Zangezur.

It was noted that the project was developed taking into account the natural features and according to the principle of sustainable development of the village.

The foundation stone of Khorovlu village in Jabrayil district was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on May 4, 2023.

In the first phase, the construction of 334 private houses is planned for the resettlement of 1,395 people in this village. In order to meet the drinking water needs of the population to be resettled in Khorovlu, works on the restoration of wells have been started.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed decrees on July 21, 2022, on the establishment of public legal entities "Service of Restoration, Construction and Management in Karabakh Economic Region" and "Service of Restoration, Construction and Management No.1 in East Zangezur Economic Region".

According to the decrees, the Services are public economic entities engaged in organising the construction of apartment buildings and individual residential houses in connection with the return of the population to the liberated territories in Karabakh (except for the Shusha district) and Eastern Zangezur, the management of these buildings, as well as landscaping, gardening and housing and communal services in the respective territories.

To recap, the main objective of the First State Program of the Great Return to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, approved by the head of state in November 2022, is to accelerate the creation of public utilities and social infrastructure, construction of housing, development of production and creation of new jobs for the rapid return of the citizens of the Garabagh and East Zangazur economic regions.
