Azerbaijani Army holds events on occasion of National Revival Day PHOTO

According to the action plan approved by the Azerbaijani defence minister, several events on the occasion of 17 November - National Revival Day have been held in the Azerbaijani Army,  the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

The speakers highlighted the historical role of the National Revival Day, which is one of the main stages of the liberation struggle of the Azerbaijani people, in restoring Azerbaijan’s independence.

Independent Azerbaijan embarked on the modern path of development due to the political foresight and wisdom of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s policy is being successfully continued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Azerbaijani historical lands were liberated from occupation, and territorial integrity was fully ensured due to the determination and far-sighted policy of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. November 17 - National Revival Day is celebrated in Azerbaijan, as well as in the liberated territories with a sense of great pride.

Under the plan, military personnel visited museums, as well as scientific-practical conferences, round tables and other cultural-mass events were organised as part of the events.
