Azerbaijan, Senegal chart new course for bilateral cooperation in public administration

03 June 2025 19:54

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, held a meeting with Olivier Boukal, Senegal’s Minister of Public Service and Public Service Reform, underscoring Azerbaijan’s commitment to deepening relations with African countries, including Senegal.

The Cabinet of Ministers conveyed that both parties expressed mutual satisfaction with the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Senegal, particularly within various international organizations, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

This reflects a shared vision to bolster diplomatic and economic engagement on the global stage.

A key highlight of the meeting was the emphasis placed on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ASAN xidmət—the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan—and Senegal’s Ministry of Public Service and Public Service Reform. The MoU, concluded during Minister Boukal’s visit, is poised to facilitate enhanced collaboration in public administration and citizen service innovations.

Both sides discussed promising prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, signaling a forward-looking approach to the Azerbaijan-Senegal partnership. The dialogue reflected a strategic intention to explore new avenues for collaboration, leveraging mutual strengths to achieve sustainable development goals.
