Defence chief Hasanov watches Azerbaijani troops at Platinum Wolf 26 drills in Serbia PHOTO
Distinguished Visitors Day was held as part of the multinational tactical exercise "Platinum Wolf 26" in Serbia, with the participation of Azerbaijani servicemen, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence said.
The event was attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the delegation accompanying him, alongside senior military officials from other participating countries.
During the visit, guests were briefed on the objectives, tasks and stages of the exercise before observing various tactical scenarios conducted at the training range.
Officials monitored the exercise from the command post and praised the professionalism demonstrated by Azerbaijani servicemen throughout the drills.
Awards were later presented to personnel who distinguished themselves during the exercise.
"Platinum Wolf 26" brings together servicemen from Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
According to the ministry, the exercise aims to facilitate the exchange of military experience, enhance interoperability among partner nations' armed forces in peace support operations, and improve the overall level of training.
