Eštok said the talks reviewed progress in strengthening Slovak-Azerbaijani ties and highlighted what he described as the growing presence of Slovak businesses in the Azerbaijani market. He also pointed to upcoming projects aimed at further expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
He noted expectations for the early signing of a Slovakia–Azerbaijan Agreement on Investment Promotion and Protection, which is currently under consideration by the European Commission, adding that the deal would further strengthen economic links if approved.
According to Eštok, both sides see cooperation as delivering tangible benefits for businesses and citizens. He also expressed hope that further consultations would continue next year in Bratislava.
