Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan deepen defence ties on ideological work in Tashkent PHOTO
On August 21, Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, hosted a working meeting between the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan focused on exchanging experience in ideological work and psychological services.
The sides discussed fostering patriotism among younger generations, preserving national and moral values, and strengthening psychological resilience during military service and combat operations, Caliber.Az reprots, citing the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of cultural and mass events, including joint concert programmes and music festivals, in strengthening relations between the two nations based on friendship and mutual respect and preserving their historical and folklore heritage.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation visited military educational institutions of Uzbekistan’s Defence Ministry, where a concert programme was presented by the Hazi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Centre, alongside representatives of Uzbekistan’s culture and arts.
The event concluded with an exchange of gifts and a commemorative photograph.
