Azerbaijan, Serbia explore expanded defence cooperation in Belgrade talks PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has discussed prospects for advancing military cooperation as well as collaboration in the defence industry with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

This comes as part of Zakir Hasanov’s official visit to Serbia, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

The meeting was also attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Serbia, Kamil Khasiyev.

Following the talks, the Defence Minister visited the Slobodište Memorial Complex in the city of Kruševac, where he laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Second World War, paying his respects and honouring their memory.
