Azerbaijani businessman attacked in Tbilisi

Roman Isayev, an ethnic Azerbaijani businessman, was attacked in Tbilisi's Lilo Mall shopping centre.

The businessman, who received a gunshot wound to the head, was taken to a hospital. Doctors assess his condition as serious, APA reports with reference to TV Pirveli.

The armed man asked Roman Isayev, the owner of a textile shop in the shopping centre, to go outside to talk, but he refused. The assailant then opened fire, injuring him and then fled.

The police are currently searching for the perpetrator. The attack was recorded by the shopping centre’s surveillance camera.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact.
