Azerbaijani judokas win four medals on first day of European Cup tournament  PHOTO

Azerbaijani judokas won four medalson the first day of the European Judo Cup tournament, which is taking place in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the first day of the competition, Azerbaijani judokas won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals. Six of our judokas competed for medals. Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) won the gold medal, Kamran Suleymanov - the bronze medal.

In the final meeting of the tournament in the 73 kg weight category, two of our judokas, Ibrahim Aliyev and Telman Veliyev, met. Aliyev won the gold medal. Our other judoka won a bronze medal.

The European Cup tournament will end on May 21.
