Azerbaijani national becomes City Duma deputy in Russia’s Izhevsk

An Azerbaijani national has been elected as a deputy to the City Duma of Izhevsk, Russia.

Bahruz Ali oglu Humbatov won the seat in the Union Electoral District No. 25 of Izhevsk, Udmurt Republic, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Humbatov was born on November 26, 1978, in the village of Ormashen in Georgia’s Dmanisi District. He graduated from the Institute of Law, Social Management, and Security at Udmurt State University.
