Azerbaijani Parliament, Russian MFA exchange views on issues of mutual interest PHOTO

Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties Samed Seyidov has met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Department of Public Relations and Press of Mili Majlis told Report.

Samed Seyidov noted that close ties between Azerbaijan and Russia are based on mutual respect.

"Azerbaijani-Russian relations having centuries-old history are based on traditional friendly ties," he said.

Expressing gratitude for the warm meeting, Alexander Grushko said Russia is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on other topical issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan Mikhail Yevdokimov and other officials attended the meeting.
