Azerbaijani radiation, chemical, biological protection units hold drills PHOTO/VIDEO
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ radiological, chemical and biological protection units have held field exercises under the 2023 training plan approved by Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov.
In the course of the exercise, the troops took initial positions for conducting an anti-terrorist operation, planning and carrying out tasks of radiation, chemical and biological protection, as well as the management of units in the implementation of these actions, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.
In addition, the units practically carried out chemical reconnaissance missions at various sites and territories contaminated with mock toxins, special cleaning of weapons, equipment and other equipment, and practised aerosol camouflage operations in accordance with the combat situation.
The radiation, chemical and biological protection measures were successfully carried out in the course of the exercise, which was aimed at practising coordinated joint activities of the units, improving field skills and developing high physical and psychological stamina in the personnel.
