Babiš: Czechia seeks cooperation with Kazakhstan
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Andrej Babiš, who arrived in Astana on an official visit, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in critical minerals, as well as opportunities in nuclear energy — within the framework of cooperation between Kazatomprom and ČEZ Group. They also noted potential in fuel cycle services, technological exchange, and the training of specialists.
“Czechia wants to cooperate with Kazakhstan in the chemical industry, energy, and water resources,” said Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
The sides also highlighted the potential for cooperation in digital technologies and artificial intelligence. In addition, the prime ministers discussed the reintroduction of Przewalski’s horse.
