Bahrain reports dozens of Iranian missiles and drones shot down
Air defence systems in Bahrain intercepted a number of Iranian missiles and drones on Saturday, March 14, according to the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force.
According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the military said that ten Iranian missiles and thirteen unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted during the latest wave of attacks.
The General Command added that since the start of the hostilities, Bahraini air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 124 missiles and 203 drones that were directed at the kingdom’s territory.
In its statement, the military condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property, saying such attacks violate international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
The Bahraini command also warned that these indiscriminate attacks pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.
