Baku simplifies visa procedures for foreigners coming to Azerbaijan Grand Prix

President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to simplify visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons who will visit the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the organization and holding of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix competition.

According to Caliber.Az with reference to the presidential press service, according to the order, foreigners and stateless persons who come to Azerbaijan in connection with the Formula 1 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix races and who have submitted any of the documents specified in the order, from 10 May to June 15, 2022, will be able to obtain a visa at the international airports of Azerbaijan.

These documents include: an accreditation card confirming the passage of accreditation in accordance with the rules of the International Automobile Federation and Formula One Management Limited, which are the international organizers of Formula 1 races; accreditation card confirming the passage of accreditation in the operating company "Baku City Ring"; 2022 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix ticket or proof of purchase.
