Baykar advances KIZILELMA trials with F-16-grade radar system PHOTO / VIDEO

21 October 2025 18:39

Turkish defence company Baykar has continued test flights of the third prototype of its unmanned combat aircraft, Bayraktar KIZILELMA.

In a post shared by SavunmaSanayiST.com on its X platform account, it was stated that Bayraktar Kızılelma conducted a test flight equipped with ASELSAN’s MURAD AESA radar, Caliber.Az reports.

Baykar chairman Selçuk Bayraktar also confirmed the successful completion of the flight.

The test marked a key milestone — the integration of Türkiye’s domestically produced fire-control radar, also used on F-16 fighter jets and AKINCI UAVs operated by the Turkish Air Force, onto the KIZILELMA platform.

“With the MURAD 100-A, Bayraktar KIZILELMA has become significantly more powerful. Our national fire-control radar, the MURAD 100-A AESA, successfully completed its first flight tests on the KIZILELMA platform,” ASELSAN said in a statement.
